Old is New Again

The worst thing jewellery people like hearing is when clients confess to having a piece, or often pieces, of beautiful jewellery tucked up in cupboards or in secret hiding spots and safes. Not ok.

At Errai we love getting our hands on client’s non-wearable pieces, there is so much opportunity reinventing pieces for the modern day. These pieces can often be out-of-fashion, impractical or simply not to the taste of the beholder. Not to fret – reinvention and creation is proving to be quite our speciality.

Take this ring on the left that was Granny’s engagement ring that broke, it’s owner saw it as a great opportunity to reinvent it and it even got a handsome upgrade. And voila, a modern cocktail ring that will take you from lunch to a fancy party whilst retaining the sentimentality of the diamond from Granny.

What about turning two Art Deco brooches into a fancy ring with maximum WOW factor. Brooches have become a bit nanna and as a result hard to wear. These brooches were in mint condition with fabulous old cut diamonds. Teaming it with a modern tennis bracelet and diamond earrings is a total class act.

Stack rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. One is way too few and the maximum number really is only confined to how much weight your wrist can take or how long your fingers are.
